My Big Sister

I have a big sister. She's pretty great though loud. When she wakes up in the morning, she wants to immediately come find me and hug and kiss me. She likes to hold me for a long time. She even held me the other day when I was fussy and calmly shushed me for a while. She always makes sure she is playing near me (with her toys). She even helped give me my first bottle. (Check out her cheeks and mouth in the below picture. She wanted to make sure I was drinking right.) I love when we snuggle in bed together. Now she does turn the swing on too high sometimes...but I love her anyway.

Six Weeks Old

I am 6 weeks old today. Wow! Time has really flown by and I am proof of it. My neck has gotten so much stronger. I have rolled over several times. I have gained weight and gotten bigger. But best of all I am smiling. Check me out!

More Easter Activities

After Church on Easter we had some time until we went and ate at Ms. Kelly's house. So we planned on dying eggs and playing. When we drove up though from church there were eggs in our front yard! The easter bunny had left them all over our neighborhood. So I wetn out to gather them. The grass was wet with dew and I didn't want to get my pretty dress wet so I pulled it up in my hands. I gathered all the eggs and still kept my dress dry!

Daddy and I headed inside after that to dye eggs. He's really good at dying eggs. So we strategized and got to work. I made one for everyone in my family plus 8 more. I even put stickers on some of them. They were so pretty.

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter Morning. We all got dressed and made it to church early! It was Hallie's first time at church. Lots of people wanted to see her and touch her. I was pretty protective of her and hovered over her any chance I got. I loved my new pink dress but my bow was too big and wouldn't stay in my hair. Mommy said it needed a ponytail to hold it up. Here are some pictures from our morning.

Easter Festivities

Hi all!
I am going to backtrack a little bit and show you some Easter pictures. I had so much fun during Easter attending egg hunts, church, and celebrating Jesus in general. Daddy took me to an egg hunt in my neighborhood. I saw the Easter Bunny. And I was all-business this year when I hunted for eggs. No more collecting just the pink ones like last year. As you can see I did pretty good.

I also went to an egg hunt at my friend Lindy's house. There were lots of egg-hunters there. I was pretty tired and had a hard time keeping up with the big kids so I got a little sad during the hunt. But I ended up finding a bunch of eggs in the end. I sat with my friend Ava and went through my eggs when the hunt was over. Mommy and Daddy were proud of me for sharing at both hunts with some of the younger kids.

More Easter pictures to come....

Making my mark

What a wonderfully crazy place I have been born in to! Mommy says I am a pretty content but feisty baby. My big sister says I am a cutie pie. My daddy says I am snuggly. I get lots of hugs, kisses, and love at this house, and it is always loud. I am usually hanging out in my own personal swing (Mommy's sling)which I enjoy except theat sometimes food lands on my face. Mommy amd Daddy say I have these long skinny legs with little feet on the end that find their way out of the sling or blankets. I am trying to make my mark here though I have already found my place as baby sister, and I am pretty happy in that role.

The Sweatshirt

My friend Karaley passed on some clothes to me (dance clothes, soccer clothes, and regular clothes), but my favorite thing she passed on to me is this sweatshirt. It's pink, you see, and I love it! Mommy said it makes me look so big (she means old). It has this pocket on the front for my hands. I wore it on one of the last days of the cold days and mommy snapped this picture. Mommy has been saying how big I am now that Baby Sister is here. The sweatshirt proves that right. (And the worm I found in our flower garden)!
