Super Carlisle

I wanted to share with you one of my fabulous gifts from my birthday. I received a purple cape from my friends Jim, Abby, and Perry. I run down the hall with it flying behind me yelling "Super Carlisle!" Mommy showed me how and then I did it myself over and over again. The purple cape also helped me jump up the stairs really big. I tried to talk Mommy in to letting me wear it while I rode my tricycle but she said no. I though it would help me peddle. Oh well. If you need help from Super Carlisle you know where to find me.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthsday to you. Happy Birthsdays to you. Happy Birthsdays dear Carlisle. Happy Birthsday to you. (Clap, Clap, Clap). I was singing Happy Birthsday to myself and remembering what a great 2nd birthday I had. Mommy and Daddy planned a "Pancakes and Play" birthday. I invited my family and friends over. We played and played. Mommy and Daddy set up my little tent upstairs and filled it with balloons. It was so much fun. (Mommy said it was the best $0.99 she ever spent). By the end of the party all the balloons were downstairs and covered with Bear hair!

We had pancakes instead of birthday cake and some of my guests asked where the cake was so I offered them doughnuts instead. I think they were ok with that. Because of all the practice blowing up bubbles and the party blower, I could blow out my own candles this year.

All of my gifts were so generous and thoughtful. My friends helped me open the packages which I needed because I would get distracted. Mommy and Daddy surprised me with a tricycle. It is pink, purple, and yellow. It has a bell and a basket on it. I ding the bell and say "Here I come!". I can even peddle with one foot. Thank you to everyone who came to my party and played with me and for all of my sweet gifts. It was a great day.

Crazy Weather

Hello,
While I know this is nothing like last year, the weather this year has been so crazy. First we had tornados. Mommy kept getting me up in the middle of the night and taking me to the laundry room with the wind blowing outside. Then a few weeks later we had two different days of snow. Neither were big snows but enough to make my footprints in and "ooh and ahh" at.

Then a few days later we had very pretty weather. We got outside and played and blew bubbles on the front steps. Since I had learned how to blow the party blower, I figured out how to blow bubbles. Before now I just watched Mommy blow the bubbles or ate the soap in an attempt to blow bubbles. I was so excited when I finally blew my first bubble. Then Daddy blew bunches of bubbles out in the air and up over the house. I tried to catch them all! Winter is not over yet so I will wait and see what happens next.

Preparing for celebrations

Hi there friends!
I spent the rest of February preparing for celebrating upcoming birthdays with friends and myself of course. I attended a friend's 2nd birthday party and received a party blower. What a fun thing! I finally blew hard enough to blow it all the way out. My puffs of air were accompanied by saliva too so my party blower died after an hour of wet puffs.

One weekend mommy took us to Krispy Kreme to check out the sprinkled donuts for my birthday party. While we were there we picked up some donuts, chocolate milk (special occasion #3), and a HAT! I thought it was great to put it on my head over and over again. Sometimes I would pull it out too far and it would come apart, and I would get upset. Now it has a special home in my dressup box. In one of the pictures below you can see me holding my drummer boy. He was a gift from the youth staff at church. He's an Italian drummer boy and plays a song at the touch of a button (an incredibly long song Mommy says). Sometimes he has to take a break from drumming. I will play him for you if you come visit sometime.

I love Chocolate!

So have I told you how much I love chocolate? It has to be the best thing God created (besides my Daddy and Mommy and Bear). I am always asking for chocolate milk which I have only had three times on special occasions. On Valentines Day, Mommy and Daddy made a great dinner at home and then we had fondue. Do you know about this stuff? Yum! Where have they been hiding this? I got a big fork and dipped marshmallows in chocolate. I have to confess that I didn't really eat the marshmallow. I just kept dipping it in the chocolate and licking it off. At one point, I demanded my own chocolate bowl because the fondue pot was too far away. This is obviously an inherited gene from my Daddy...
