Holiday Break activities

We have been playing lots of games, watching movies, and eating fudge over the holiday break. We also have played in the snow - again. This time Mommy went out sledding with me. We went on the disc sled and hit a tree. I couldn't quit laughing though we were ok. Those things are hard to steer! We also went down on the rail sled a couple of times which was fun. Mommy ended up with snow in her boots and pants from hitting the tree so she went inside and Daddy came out to help build a snowman.

Introducing McKenlee Grayson (named after my cousins)

Lastly, Mommy wanted to capture this on film. This is how I like to carry Hallie, especially if she is about to get into something she shouldn't be. I can be heard saying "No, no Hallie Mae." I bet she is glad she has me around to help her.

Merry Christmas Everyone

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

White Christmas

We spent most of the day inside on Christmas Day but did venture outside for a few pictures and some SNOW for the SNOW CREAM!

Mixing the Snow Cream

Snow Cream is good!

So silly that we are in our pj's out in the snow

Hallie didn't like the cold

The little car lives on

For Christmas, Mommy and Daddy asked me to give Hallie the little car that used to be mine. I watched while Daddy wrapped it and helped Hallie unwrap it. She loves riding on it. And I have found a new love of playing with it with her and pushing her on it. We took it upstairs and I "raced" her on the rocking horse across the room.

I am glad I can still ride these little kid toys.

Much Love,
Carlisle Drew

More Christmas Day pictures

We spent ALL day in our pajamas. Mommy and Daddy too. They said since it was our first white Christmas and we had nowhere to be that our pj's were great for the day which was fine by me!

Hallie and I had matching pjs. Maybe next year Daddy and Mommy can match up too.

We read my new book a bunch.

I picked out this gingerbread house for Mommy and I to do together. We actually put it together on Christmas Eve.

I think its turned out well for our first try!

We even had our fancy dinner on the fancy plates in our pajamas!

The other view of Christmas Day

I finally get a chance to tell you my view of Christmas morning. What a fun day! We slept in a little bit and then had to go wake Carlisle up so we could get on with the show. She's a sleepy head. Santa brought me a new play table and I love it because I can stand up and play.

I love the noises it makes.

Carlisle emptied my stocking for me since I was just interested in Jesus and Sophie the Giraffe.

I liked this crinkle paper, but then saw Mommy near me on the floor with the camera and made a break for it.

I liked this paper too, but had it taken away from me because I tried to eat it.

Carlisle tells me lots of secrets. Usually she says "Your name is Hallie Mae Kirk".

There are lots of new things to stick in my mouth at our house. There are also new things for me to stand on or ride at the house. I am so excited. I had fun and hope you did too.

Hugs,
Hallie Mae

My view of Christmas morning

"This is the best Christmas ever!" Mommy and Daddy heard that a lot on Christmas Day. We had a lot of fun and Santa came. I had asked for a scooter, which you know I received, and a doll house. Well, I got a pony castle which was even better! He left a note telling me that these ponies needed a new home and asked if I would take care of them. He told me their names and left me one to name myself. The castle has a button that you push and the whole thing pops open. It is so cool. I am very protective though and will not let Hallie touch it under any circumstances.

Me exploring my new castle

Opening my stocking and telling Hallie what she can't touch or have because she is a baby

My favorite gift...a book Mommy and Daddy made about me and Hallie based on one of my favorite books about sisters

Opening my jewelry box...it had a mood ring in it!

I got to open most of Hallie's gifts since she can't and that was fun!

I hope you had a fun Christmas too!

Last of the moments from Granny's house

More fun moments at Grandpa and Granny's house. There were lots of people there so there was lots of activity. I loved playing with my first cousins (its important for me to say this because i have second cousins I refer to often and I don't want to confuse them by just saying "cousins"). I think I wore them out though playing chase, hide and seek, and tackle or get me.

Me with first Cousins Holden and Grayson. We were elves and passed out gifts.

I helped Hallie unwrap her gifts and enjoyed playing with them and then giving her a turn.

My new locket...like the one Annie has!

Hallie got a Pooh Bear from Aunt Michelle that makes her laugh

First Cousin Dylan with Hallie. She climbed up in his lap.

What fun we all had!

My family

We of course had to take a million pictures which included pictures with all of our family members. Luckily, I was ok with this, and we are pretty cute.

Aunt Cindy with loves on me and Hallie a lot and understands girly things

On to the next Christmas Celebration

We traveled a whole 10 minutes down the road to get to Granny and Grandpa's house for our next Christmas celebration. We unloaded there and then waited for everyone to arrive the next day. There were different activities at this house for us to do.

We played piano and even Hallie liked it though she banged and was really loud!

We baked the birthday cake for Jesus. I am telling Granny how the cake should be made.

I taught Uncle Andrew how to play Connect Four on the computer (this is my new favorite game on the computer and off)

Hallie looked for the remotes and chewed on them (they were hiding under the table)

We added more pieces to the train set. I quickly found the new set under the tree before we even set our bags down in the house. Aunt Michelle helped me play trains and rescue vehicles.

More to come from Granny's....
Much Love,

Last pictures from Memie's House

These are the last of the pictures from Memie and Papa Nick's house though I didn't get any of their dog Ben. He was always around but never near us girls. Wonder why?

Matching pj's (in Ben's favorite spot)

Memie has lots of crafts and we did a bunch! Here we are making ornaments, and I am trying to figure out how to place the pictures on the can lid.

Trying out the scooter on the road...the old, bumpy country road. Not the same as the carpet in the hallway but I am making it.

Such a great time at Memie and Papa Nick's

Everyone got to read a lot of books with me

On to Granny and Grandpa's house!

Much Love,
Carlisle Drew

More scenes from Memie's house

Mpre pictures from our time st Memie and Papa Nick's house:

Moving Hallie from the tree while I was opening my scooter. The tree is dangerous for her.

So excited about my new scooter with a little rub on my belly button

The scooter works fine down the hallway

Hallie got this wagon with her blocks. It works perfect as a wagon for her.
