Eleven Weeks Old

My first summer is finally here! Things have really been happening at my house. Bear got a haircut and posed for another picture with me, and this time he was touching me! He's been sniffing me alot more to see if I have been around other dogs. We have been to a few more graduation parties where I get to see more people. So fun! Mommy and Daddy have a new game they play with me where they blow a puff of air in my face. It surprises me so much that I startle and smile real big.

Uncle Andrew and Daddy treated us to a night out. We went to see the US Men's Soccer Team play Morocco with Mommy and friends Jason and Casey. What a night! It was a practice game before the World Cup to be played in a few weeks. There were so many new sounds (drums, yelling, whistling, clapping, air horns, cymbals) and so many new people to look at! I liked watching the flags wave most of all. I was very fashionable in a white onesie with "USA" on the front, a white hat, and my soccer ball rattle. Daddy carried me in the baby carrier so I could see everything. I had fun even though the US team did not win. Mommy and Daddy said I did great hanging out at the soccer game. Daddy says "Go USA in the World Cup"!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Ten Weeks Old

Hello all!
It's graduation season and Mommy and Daddy have been invited to a lot of parties that they are taking me to. We went to the Feldhacker graduation party on Friday night where lots of people were celebrating. The band Three Mile Road played so Mommy and Daddy thought I should where earplugs to protect my little ears. I didn't like the orange earplugs at first but then I got used to them and enjoyed the music.

On Monday I took my first road trip to visit all my grandparents. I had fun riding in the car. I got to meet lots of new people. I met my great-grandmother Memo (Mommy's grandmother). She held me for a long time and kept saying how beautiful I was. Mommy took lots of pictures of us together, including one of our hands. I also met my uncle, aunt, and cousins. They were so excited to meet me. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Miss Kelly and Mr. Jim kept me at their house while they went out. I liked staying at their house on the farm with all the dogs. They told me I could come back anytime to play. Yeah! Have fun this week!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mom,

Dad tells me that today is the day that you honor your mother. He has been telling me how lucky I am to have you as my mom. I think he is right. You are the best mom. You took such good care of me in your tummy, but I am so glad that we can look at each other now. Thank you for helping me with my diapers. Thanks for always helping me look so cute and cool by picking out the best outfits. Thanks for the middle of the night snacks. I’m trying to sleep longer now for you. Thanks for playing with me in the morning and afternoon, for scrubbing me clean in my bathtub, for reading all those great stories to me, and for taking me for walks in the parks.
I love looking at you. I do not know it yet but I think you look like me. I see you in my personality too as I do all kinds of silly things. I see you in me. Do you see me in you? So, I do not know any of the other moms in the world and I do not need to because you’re the one for me. God gave me to you and you to me! Happy Mothers Day!

Nine Weeks Old

Mommy and Daddy said I am getting very expressive lately and
learning more each day. Daddy explains everything to me in great detail. With all the storms lately, he has told me about rain and how rain is formed. He's so smart! I am enjoying my play mat more and more. I get real determined (see picture) and then I get frustrated (see other picture). I am really good at kicking though. Daddy says I will make a good soccer player.

I also have discovered my hand this week. It goes in my mouth sometimes but doesn't stay there long. I get frustrated because it isn't my pacifier! Mommy loves to take pictures of me and I like to be her model most of the time. She points that funny thing at me and a light flashes at me. She dresses me in the old clothes Memie gave me.

I did go to my first Cinco de Mayo party at Abby and Jim's. Mommy's friends from college liked me alot. Mommy got her haircut this week while I hung out with Daddy and his coworkers. She said she need a change. I like it a lot because I can still grab it! It is graduation time so we are going to a lot of parties in the coming weeks. I am so excited to be so social. Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy, Memie, Grandma, Memo, and Nana!

Shots!

I went to the doctor again yesterday for my two month checkup. The doctor said I looked great! I weighed 12 lbs 3 oz and was 24.25 inches long. My weight put me in the 85th percentile; height in the 97th percentile and head size in the 92nd percentile. Mommy and Daddy were proud of my growth. As you can see I loved being at the doctor's office. The paper on the table crinkled when I wiggled. Then the shots came! I had 3 total and cried immediately. My head turned the color of a watermelon I was so mad - see picture! But Mommy said I was a champ the rest of the day with the help from Tylenol. Yesterday we also took my two month picture next to the stuffed dog.

Two months old

Hello all!
I have been movin' and shakin' so much that I barely had time to write this blog. I have been enjoying the outdoors while Mommy and Daddy plant flowers. I sit in my carseat (sometimes asleep) and look at the world. I am so fascinated by all that surrounds me.

I have started batting at the little lamb and pig hanging from my bouny seat, close-fisted of course. I am still unsure about the cow that sings "Old McDonald".

Bear dog went to the doctor this week and he told me that shots aren't that bad! He's preparing me for my two month visit. He finally sat by me to have a picture made. I think he likes me!

Much Love,
