Last of the top 10 Things
3. Family. I loved spending time with my family. I got to play with my cousins and see my aunts and uncles and grandparents. I was loved by all my family members and am s blessed to have them in my life.
.JPG)
2. Unwrapping gifts. I loved unwrapping gifts, but I especially loved unwrapping gifts with people helping me. I wanted to include others in my surprise and excitement. (Mommy's note - Carlisle has such a sweet soul and wants everyone to be included. I hope she is like this always.)
.JPG)
1. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were present. Santa brought me Joseph to go with my Mary and Jesus. He was missing. He and Mary became the parents of my kids in the Little People House and Jesus was one of the other babies in the house. They drove the kids to school in the minivan and made them dinner at the house. I was sad when they were packed away for next year but we still talk about them. Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

6. Music. I love my new pink keyboard - another gift. I love jamming on it and pretending I am Susie in the Laurie Berkner band. Sometimes I let Mommy or Daddy play but only if I am playing another instrument (see number 4). I also loved my Christmas music and have landed on Feliz Navidad as my favorite song.
.JPG)
5. Eating Santa's Leftovers. Santa didn't eat all of his cookie I left him so finished it up Christmas morning before breakfast and before Mommy or Daddy could get to it. There were always lots of goodies around the house over the holidays. I thought they were all yummy! I told mommy that next year I am leaving Santa Fruit Salad (Wiggles reference...)
.JPG)
4. Rocking on my electric guitar. Uncle Andrew surpised me on Christmas morning by showing up with another gift - an "electric guitar". It is SO cool. It has a whammy bar, red blinky lights, and its pink and black glitter. I love to rock out on it. I like to pretend I am Laurie Berkner in the Laurie Berkner Band. I asked Mommy the other day if I could take it to a Wiggles show and show Anthony (the Wiggle who plays the guitar) my guitar. I think he might be jealous of my guitar.

Top 10 Things I Love about Christmas
I loved Christmas and all the festivities that came with it. I didn't care for Mommy's Christmas music but she was determined to listen to it so I gave in to Raffi's Christmas album and Veggie Tales Christmas which I listened to well into January. I have prepared a list of the top ten things I loved about the Christmas season and have a picture to go with each (so this entry may carry over into others...) Here goes
10. Snow in December. I got to go sledding on Mommy's old sled. It went fast and sort of scared me but it was fun to watch. I also got to build a snowman but Bear ate his face (made of dog treats, m&ms, and a carrot) and his head fell off. I cried just a little.
.JPG)
9. Meeting Santa. I wasn't as scared this year about Santa Claus but still didn't want to sit in his lap. I told him every time I saw him that I wanted stickers and puzzles which he brought me. I told mommy that next year I want to take a picture of him when he brings us our presents.
.JPG)
8. Friends. I got to see lots of friends over the holidays. I loved singing Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman with them and playing.
.JPG)
7. Popbeads. Uncle Andrew gave me popbeads as a gift and I love them. Mommy and Daddy and I make all kinds of things with them: jewelry, cars and racetracks, people, snow flakes. I always make sure that Bear has a necklace to wear too.

Belated Holiday Recap
Hello everybody! I apologize for mommy's lack of blogging. She has been busy making a blanket (quilt) and has been looking at something called facebook a lot. I was able to get her to promise me to upload a few "new" entries so everyone knows that my hair is growing.
The holidays were such fun and I thought I would share the highlights of them. Thanksgiving was spent with Memie and Papa Nick at Aunt Francye's house, and we also went to Granny and Grandpa's house while we were "out west". I loved playing in the leaves at Granny and Grandpa's house and seeing Uncle Andrew. I played with all my cousins at Aunt Francye's house and played on the playset with Papa Nick. I discovered over Thanksgiving that I LOVE broccoli. Its even better with cheese. I didn't really care for any traditional Thanksgiving food, even the famous mashed potatoes at Aunt Francye's. Daddy says that just means there are more for him. I am very thankful for spending so much time with my family!

Thanks Mr. Dave and Mrs. Kaffy
I don't have any pictures of this - not one! Where was mommy? I know she was there. Oh well. A few weekends ago Mommy and Daddy took me to a farm. It was Mr. Dave and Mrs. Kaffy's farm. Mr. Dave and Mrs. Kaffy are very special to Mommy and Daddy. They helped Mommy and Daddy get here and then they let us stay at their B&B in 2006 for a month until our house was built. They were what Mommy called gracious hosts and had a beautiful farm. They have 3 dogs: Ellie Mae, Howard, and Daisy. Howard stayed out of sight so I was constantly asking "Where's Howard?". She has a horse (Spooks), mule (Twister), and a donkey (Meshach). Mommy and I got to ride Spooks while Mrs. Kaffy led him around the yard. They also have 2 ducks (Snap and Quackle) and 2 cats. We got to feed the horses pears and the ducks duck food. Mrs. Kaffy even took me on a ride on her big cart through the woods. Mommy said we went off-roadin'. The best thing of all was that I got to meet a big girl named Izzy. She was so neat. She sang and put on a show that we all clapped for. Izzy is the daughter of a friend of mommy and Mrs. Kaffy. Thanks Mr. Dave and Mrs. Kaffy for a great weekend on your beautiful farm.

It runs in the family
If you don't know it my Papa Nick is a great bowler. He has big rings to prove it Mommy says. Well, this past weekend,we were supposed to go camping but the time change didn't allow it, and then we were supposed to go hiking but the weather didn't allow it. So we went bowling with my friends Travis and Taylor. We had little bowling balls just our size. I really enjoy pushing the ball down the lane and watching the pins fall down. I would make big noises and use all my strength to push that little ball down the lane. Then I would wait anxiously to see the pins fall. Only a few times did my ball only go part of the way down (that's when Daddy had to help by throwing another ball down to push my ball). I have to confess that I had a hard time taking turns with mommy and daddy. I wanted to go every time. Travis and Taylor were really good bowlers and loved playing. We played 2 games and half way through the second game, I started lying on the lane after I pushed my ball down. I would wait a while before I got up. Daddy said I am not ready for 2 games again. I think I played well, but I can't remembered what my number was. I was really tired after bowling. It takes a lot out of you.

She did it and I survived!
Friends,
My mommy did it. She got my haircut for the first time ever and I survived. Here's the story. Mommy and Daddy have been sturrgling with my wild and carzy hair. I won't keep a barrette in my bangs and the back of my hair is always stringy (according to Mommy; it doesn't bother Daddy). So Friday morning when I woke up and Mommy saw my hair, she picked up the phone and told a lady we were leaving that minute (to go where, I didn't know). In the car, Mommy said I was going to get my haircut at the same place where John Mark gets his haircut. I asked if he would be there to watch me, and Mommy said no. She said we were running late which she says a lot. So we pulled into the parking lot and she snatched me out of the car and ran into a store. I had no idea where we were. A lady named Shelby immediately took me to a funny chair and put a big bib around my neck. She sprayed my hair with a water from a spray thing while pointing out that Nemo was on the TV in front of me. I kept looking for Mommy and reaching for her. THEN she grabbed the scissors - the ones that Mommy says only cut paper - and she started to cut my hair! She handed me a pink cell phone with girls on it and told me to look down at it. She said it had the Disney princesses on it - who are they or what are they? My friend at school was dressed as a princess for Halloween but I thought she was just dressed in a pretty dress. I didn't really know what a princess was. This was happening so fast and I didn't understand. And Mommy just kept taking pictures. Finally Shelby used the hairdryer so I knew the end was near. When it was over, she gave me a glitter star on my hand and gave Mommy a baggie with my hair in it. I was pretty proud of my new haircut even though the experience was not great. Shelby also gave me a lollipop and told me to come back. Mommy was so proud of me for being a big girl and sitting still. She said I look like a big girl with my baby "whispies" gone. Don't worry; I still have a few curls in the back. Mommy said she is glad the curls will stay around for a little while longer.

All I want for Christmas is...
PIGTAILS! My friend Lindy wears pigtails a lot, and I like them. The other day Mommy asked if I could go to the bathroom with her so she could pull her hair up in a pony tail. I told her I wanted ponytails. So she put my hair up two different times in ponytails. They didn't stay long either time due to the lack of hair and my patience to keep them in very long. The ponytails mean that I actually have hair long enough to pull up, which also means that my hair is long and fluffy. Mommy has been thinking about getting me a haircut. Do you know what that is? I don't. I have only seen Daddy get his haircut and he uses these loud buzzing clippers that send me screaming into the other room. Is Mommy going to use that on my head? She has been asking her friends lots of questions and running her fingers through my hair. I am worried.

Halloween 2008...finally
Halloween is so funny. I really don't understand why we had to cut open the pupmkins and why Mommy got so excited about scooping the goop out and why I couldn't eat the candy at my house and had to go to another house and ask for it, do you? We carved pumpkins just before Halloween. Mommy let me help pick out the stencils. I didn't really enjoy carving or scooping, but I really liked poking holes in the pumpkins like Mommy did while she was carving (though I didn't have a pattern to my pokes). After she and Daddy finished, we sat them up and put candles inside them. I then asked if "I needed my picture taken with them". Mommy said ok so I posed with the pumpkins.

Granny and Grandpa came to celebrate Halloween with me and go trick-or-treating. I really had a fun night running around though I was a little timid to ask for candy. I got to see my neighbor Mateo. He was dressed as a little Colombian man. I dressed up as Mary had a Little Lamb again (I wore Mommy's old dress). Mommy dressed up at Little Miss Muffet and Daddy was Little Boy Blue. I also found some things for Granny and Grandpa to wear to celebrate the day. After I trick-or-treated, I came back to the house and helped pass out candy. I really liked seeing all the kids dressed up like so many different things. I keep asking every night when it gets dark if it is time to go trick-or-treating again. I can't seem to find my candy from that night though. Have you seen it?

Fall Fest at my School
Fall Fest at my school finally arrived last month and I was so excited! I had invited my friends Perry, Travis, and Taylor. It rained all day the day of Fall fest which threatened the outdoor games, petting zoo, and train ride. The sun came out and the rain stopped just in time for the Fall Fest to begin. I loved the jumpy things and the train ride and the horse which I rode all by myself! Perry was dressed as a pear. Travis and Taylor were dressed as dinosaurs. I was dressed as Mary had a little lamb. I got to see friends Corinne and John Mark. John Mark was a dragon. Mommy let me stay for the magic show this year. I loved watching the magic guy make the rabbits and birds appear and disappear. He was funny! I wish you could all come next year.

Daddy's birthday trip to Atlanta
My daddy had a birthday recently and turned a number with a 3 and a 5 in it. We celebrated at home with dinner. I picked out cupcakes with blue icing and gold cups. I also picked out green balloons for him which we hung all over the house and outside. Daddy thought there might be a surprise party inside when he pulled up but it was just Mommy and me. I helped him blow out his candle and eat his cupakes. I really just licked the blue icing off and did not eat the chocolate cake.

Daddy was gone a lot last month, and he planned to be gone during his birthday. Mommy and I were sad so we went with him on his trip to Lanta (atlanta). To celebrate his birthday, Mommy and I went to the Aquarium and the Children's Museum. (Daddy was actually stuck in meetings both days). We had so much fun at both. I loved seeing the Baby Beluga that I sing about and all the fish. I got to see my first 3D movie which scared me a little bit. I insisted on taking my baby Will with me and showing him all the fish. I wouldn't take any pictures with out him at the Aquarium. At the children's museum, Mommy got to visit with her aunt Kaffy (Kathy) while I played with all the exhibits. Later in the day we met Daddy at Centennial park for some play time. I had fun on the playground, but was sad that it was too cold to play in the water fountains. I think Daddy had a great birthday, and we had a great trip!

Friends and more Pumpkins
One night while Daddy was gone, Mommy and I met some friends at a Fall Fest held at the local YMCA. There were jumpy things, a train to ride, a fire truck, and popcorn (aka my dinner). I met my buddy John Mark and his sister Audrey (who is also my friend). We ran around and drove our mothers crazy til they had to drag us out of there.

The day after that Mommy and I made a second trip to the pumpkin patch with Perry and her parents. It was another fun trip to the patch and this time I went up and down the slide as much as I wanted. The baby cows were still there too. I even got to pick out 2 baby pumpkins to take home and show my babies. Mommy wouldn't let me take my babies with me, something about them getting dirty or lost. I can keep up with my babies. I don't know what she is talking about. I just make Mommy carry them. I have 6 babies that I carry around (pictured below). They are (pictured from left to right) Tanner (in diaper), Kendall (orangutan), Luna (small bear), Will (or sometimes Perry), and Connor (sometimes Emma). Not pictured is Molly. They are with me all the time and I like to include them in everything I do. So here I am telling the about my trip to the pumpkin patch during their snack.

Granny's Birthday at the zoo
My Granny had a birthday and she wanted to celebrate it with me (and Mommy and Daddy and Uncle Andrew) so we went to the zoo. That's where I'd want to go if it were my birthday. We had a big day and a picnic. I showed them all the animals and rode the carousel with both Granny and Grandpa. It was hard to only let them ride once each. I think Granny had a great birthday.

Mommy and Daddy have something to share with everyone that is very personal. They finally got a picture of me showing and talking about this subject so they thought they would share it (much to my embarassment when I am older). But for now, here is the story. I am fascinated with my body, especially nipples. I love touching mine, talking about them, and talking about other peoples' nipples. Mommy and Daddy both have them. One day mommy had me spend the evening with John Mark and his family. As the story goes, we were talking during dinner about getting bigger and growing up. We talked about how old we would be at our next birthday. Then I announced that my nipples were getting bigger. John Mark's mommy wasn't sure how to respond except to say "Yes they are. Everything on you is getting bigger." The next time I brought up the subject was one evening when I was serving Daddy dessert from my kitchen. I grabbed the ice cream sundae that is covered with chocolate and strawberries and said to Daddy, "Here's your chocolate with nipples." Mommy and Daddy can't wait for my next discussion of the subject.

Annual trip to the pumpkin patch
Hello again friends!
I wanted to catch you up on all my fall activities. Mommy and Daddy took me to Gentry's Farm this year. I met up with my friend Corinne and her family. I was big enough this year to swing on the tire swing by myself. I held on real tight. Corinne and I even got to swing together. But I still loved the playing in the big troths of corn as I have done for the past two years. I got to see pumpkins, chickens, goats, cows and baby cows, horses,a goose, and even a turkey! I really liked the slide and got into trouble when I ran away from Mommy in the hay maze to go slide again. I didn't want to be in the hay maze; I wanted to slide. We ended our visit with a hay ride and got to see the baby cows that had been born a few days before. It was a great day.
